Sherry Shrimp Dip

 

Ingredients:

1/2 pound small cooked shrimp
2 ribs celery, chopped
3 tablespoons dry sherry
1 (8 oz) package light cream cheese
1/2 cup light mayonnaise
2 green onions, chopped
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt

 

Directions:

  1. Rinse shrimp. Soak in ice water for 20 minutes. Drain.
  2. Soak celery in sherry to cover for 10 minutes. Do not drain.
  3. Blend light cream cheese and light mayonnaise together.
  4. Stir in green onions, garlic salt, celery and shrimp. Chill thoroughly.
  5. Place in hollowed out red cabbage, if desired, and serve with assorted crackers or bread rounds.
