There are many other spices found in the grocery store other than salt. Garlic, pepper, onion, and cumin are just of few of the more commonly used spices that add a lot of flavor and no sodium to your favorite dishes. Instead of adding salt to your taco meat; add some cumin and onion to give it that rich meaty flavor. Rosemary gives baked chicken a great flavor when picked fresh. Using fresh herbs as seasoning can be very inexpensive and you can grow them yourself!
