The demands of our busy lives often leave us settling for less than the very best. In this presentation, Jan Tilley challenges her audience to find their own personal path to wellness. Aging Gracefully – Wrinkles & All!
The things we once counted of utmost importance – our looks and our functionality slowly deteriorate as we age. It seems we turn 50 and gravity plays a dirty trick on us, we begin to notice an odd stiffness in our joints, and that oddly placed gray hair we found in our 30’s has now become our predominant hair color. Regardless of how hard we work at staying “young-at-heart,” ultimately we feel powerless to do anything about the natural progression of life. No doubt good nutrition and physical activity will help slow the natural decline that happens as we age, but the real secret to aging gracefully is learning to embrace the journey – to invest time and energy in things that will help you leave a legacy of health and hope to your world.
