Sandra George

Always fascinated by the world of nutrition Sandra attended the University of Texas at Austin to pursue an undergraduate degree in Nutrition. After her first year at UT, Sandra decided to apply for the Coordinated Program in Dietetics. Her internship consisted of various rotations in Foodservice, Clinical, Community, Administrative and Private Practice Dietetics. After graduation, Sandra joined the Methodist Health care team at Methodist Stone Oak Hospital here in San Antonio. As the only full time dietitian on staff, Sandra was able to see a variety of patients ranging from NICU to Renal to Diabetic patients. Initially Sandra thought that the hospital is where she belonged and thrived in but soon she came to realize that she liked to counsel patients for longer periods of time and be able to follow up with them, two aspects that she was not able to do in a clinical setting. After almost two years at the Methodist Stone Oak Hospital, Sandra came on board with Jan Tilley and Associates. Sandra enjoys working with a variety of patients ranging from Diabetics, to weight loss, to eating disorders. She is looking forward to working with all kinds of clients to help them achieve their health and nutrition goals!
